Know Your Worth, Babygirl

Self-worth means that you think highly of yourself, believe that you deserve the best out of life, and you do not seek validation from anyone and/or anything outside of yourself. It always makes me sad when some women believe that they don’t deserve the best because of their past, looks, current situation, and etc. No babygirl, you ALWAYS deserve the best of what life has to offer! Below are a few examples of knowing your worth.

Think Highly of Yourself

Thinking highly of yourself means that you embrace your strengths and flaws. You think you are the best thing since sliced bread, hunny! 😆 No matter what happened in your past, you do not let it define you or get you down for long. You embrace it and move on because you know your future will be fabulous! Thinking highly of yourself does not mean bringing down other women to make you feel better about yourself or feeling superior to others. For example, you should be able to compliment the woman next to you without feeling less about yourself if you see her wearing some fly Christian Louboutin pumps. You should know that you are great and all the other women you come in contact with are great as well! You should not be comparing yourself to another woman because we are all different! So, drink your water, take your multivitamin, stay out of drama, and worry about your phenomenal self, boo!

Know Your Worth When It Comes To Dating

As a woman, you should expect a man to take you nice places, make time for you, respect you, give you mental, emotional, and good sexual stimulation, and much more. You need to have standards and never lower them. If the man wants to be with you, then he will level up to your standards. If he is not leveling up to your standards after some time or after having a few conversations with him about what you expect, then it’s time to kiss him goodbye. 💋 You deserve more than the bare minimum. Do not be satisfied with receiving the short end of the stick. Netflix and chill is not a date! You have to show people (not just men) how to treat you!

Know Your Worth When It Comes To Business

If you have a business, you should be pricing your items or services based on what you think they are worth. Don’t worry about certain people not paying for it because it’s a little pricey. The people who need the items or services will be willing to pay for them. In business, you cannot please everyone. For example, do you see Lane Bryant selling clothes for women who are smaller than a size 10? Do you see Rihanna selling her Fenty collection at Walmart? No! This is where target markets come into play. So, choose a target market and prices and stick to it! Don’t always give away free items or services to your friends and family. If they support your business, they should not feel bad about spending a few bucks. You should only give away free items and services to your friends and family when YOU feel like it or as a birthday gift. If they get offended, tell them that it’s just business, nothing personal 🤷‍♀️

If you work a 9 to 5, you should get recognition for the hard work that you do. You deserve it! If they have an award where you can nominate yourself, then go for it! Don’t be shy to write down all of your accomplishments either. In business, you have to look out for yourself!
